Final Crit feedback:
Format:
The format of the design as a whole works well, the layout and image are portrayed in a clear and effective way - Finished to a high standard.
Message/communication:
The inside of the design and information communicates very well, however the outside of the design doesn't really fit the farming feel - if images where applied the communication would be so much more effective.
Appropriate audience:
Yes the information is aimed directly at farmers however we do not know who created the publication.
The final outcome and visuals work well as the use of yellow possibly represents corn? pigtograph inside represents a further feel of farming.
Relation to posters:
Great use of two colours really strong contrast between the yellow and black bright yellow is high impact and attracts your attention simple sans serif typeface high readability links well with the poster however same pantone yellow on poster would have been nice.
Research:
Good strong research develops a close link for the idea and previous brief you can clearly see a close relationship between the two through development and idea evolution and overall the piece works really well and met the criteria of the brief.
Issues raised during the crit:
- Communication of the image (Crop = Money)
seemed to be unclear.
- Colour scheme worked well in portraying the theme of the
design.
- Image of the coin was not put across well to the audience round gold circle was to simple
- Innovative folding method
- link in well with my initial poster design.
Action to be taken:
- Develop my image of a coin to increase visual message
- Test folding with stock that is going to be used
- Develop some more layout design ideas.
Priority:
- Folding test
- Develop overall layout Crit
- Imagery

- Is there any meaning behind the colour choice?
